Location

The Oberoi Vanyavilâs was India’s first luxury jungle resort, and is located in Ranthambhore - Sawai Madhopur, in the Rajasthan province in northwest India. The resort is 180 kilometers from Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan and is ideally situated on the edge of the famous Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve.

The resort can be easily reached by road or rail. The nearest airport is Jaipur (180 km), whilst the nearest railway station is Sawai Madhopur (5km) on the main line between Delhi and Mumbai.

Guests can be met at Sawai Madhopur or at the Jaipur airport by air-conditioned chauffeur driven limousine.

By air
Sanghaner airport in Jaipur is the nearest airport to the resort. It is 180 kms and approximately three and a half hours drive away. The airport has good connections to New Delhi and Mumbai with daily flights by Jet Airways, Sahara Airlines and Indian Airlines. The flight from Jaipur to Delhi takes only thirty minutes and from Mumbai only one hour and thirty minutes.

By road
It takes three and a half hours to drive from Jaipur to Vanyavilas, and six hours from Agra. From New Delhi, via Jaipur, it takes approximately eight hours by car.

By rail
Sawai Madhopur, the closest station lies on the main rail line between Delhi and Mumbai and has good connections to Jaipur. Regular super fast trains like Jan Shatabdi, Rajdhani link these destinations. The train from Sawai Madhopur to Jaipur takes approximately two hours and thirty minutes, to Delhi, 5 hours and to Mumbai, around fifteen hours.

Meetings

Vanyavilas has a multipurpose meeting room fully equipped with multimedia and 21st century audio-visual presentation facilities.
All equipments are available to guests free of charge. However there is no dedicated business centre, any extra equipment required will be hired from Jaipur and charged at cost. The room seats 35-50 people depending upon the seating arrangement.

Every luxury tent at Vanyavilas has a work desk with international direct dialling facility. There is also Internet facility in all luxury tents through Wi-Fi along with a dedicated internet desk at the lobby.
